- Army maize is the pheromone lures the mimics of natural compounds that are emitted by female moths of SPODOPTERA FRUGIPERDA to attract SPODOPTERA FRUGIPERDA males for mating.
- The Army Maize pheromone lure are kept to attract and trap the males of SPODOPTERA FRUGIPERDA and kill them.
- The trapped male will be killed in the traps where lure is placed and traps will be baited with poison.
Traps should be kept in the maize farms before sowing or just after sowing. Traps need to be hung at the edge of a maize field or nearer to the maize farm.
