This product is a pest fly trap, which should be used with pheromones lure to attract and trap pests of theBactrocera dorsalis of 83 sub species (commonly known as Fruit Fly), which is a major pest of high risk which causes pre-harvest damages, and this pest cannot be controlled by any pesticide. We recommend farmers to use Barrix Catch Fruit Fly trap along with Barrix Catch Fruit Fly Lure while cultivating following crops: Fruits: Vegetables: Commercial crops: Coffee, Almonds, Castor, Beetle Nut. Technology Pathway Block Technology: The direction of the fly entry is designed in such a way that there is no way it can escape from the trap. There are three equvi positioned paths / holes for entry and exit of air and flies located at 120 degree angle. The free pathway is been blocked by the lure as it is positioned in such a way (at the top of the container and center of the cap) due to which this pathway block technology provides the following benefits for better performance: 1. The air entering in to the container will hit the lure and is highly concentrated with the pheromone all the time so that entered fly will never tries to go out the trap, 2. The air entered freely will never go out without pheromone, 3. The flies entered directly has to hit the lure block and will fall down. 4.
