Koppert Tutasan Trap is a water-based pheromone trap designed for monitoring and trapping tomato leaf miner (Tuta absoluta). It works in combination with a pheromone lure (Pherodis), which attracts male moths into the trap where they get trapped in water. By capturing male insects, the trap helps reduce mating and lowers egg laying, thereby controlling pest population effectively.

The trap is easy to handle, capable of catching large numbers of moths, and is widely used in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for sustainable and eco-friendly pest control.

Dosage

  • Use 20–30 traps per hectare
  • Maintain spacing of 15–20 meters between traps

Usage

  • Place pheromone lure inside the trap holder
  • Fill trap with water up to indicated level
  • Add a small amount of oil or liquid soap to water
  • Place trap on soil or near crop rows
  • Ensure continuous water level (refill if needed)
  • Replace pheromone lure every 4–6 weeks
  • Clean trap when filled with insects
