Tata Atrataf is a pre-emergence herbicide used to control annual grasses and broad-leaved weeds in maize, sugarcane, sorghum, coffee, grape vine, oil palm, banana, pineapple, and guava. It is also used in non-crop areas as a total weed killer against annual perennial weeds.

Active Ingredient: Atrazine 50% w/w

Mode of Action: Tata Atrataf is a translocated pre-emergence herbicide that works by inhibiting photosynthesis in germinating weed seedlings. It is absorbed by the roots and shoots of the weeds and translocated to the leaves, where it interferes with the production of chlorophyll. This leads to the death of the weed seedlings.

Recommended Use Rates:

  • Maize: 2.5-3.5 kg/ha
  • Sugarcane: 2.5-3.0 kg/ha
  • Sorghum: 2.5-3.0 kg/ha
  • Coffee: 2.0-2.5 kg/ha
  • Grape vine: 2.0-2.5 kg/ha
  • Oil palm: 2.5-3.0 kg/ha
  • Banana: 2.0-2.5 kg/ha
  • Pineapple: 2.0-2.5 kg/ha
  • Guava: 2.0-2.5 kg/ha

Safety Precautions:

  • Wear protective clothing and eyewear when handling Tata Atrataf.
  • Do not apply the herbicide near water bodies.
  • Dispose of empty containers properly.
