Ampect Xtra is a foliar fungicide that provides long-lasting protection from yellow stripe rust and powdery mildew in wheat, barley, maize, grapes, onions, peas, potatoes, ryegrass seed crops, sweetcorn, field tomatoes, and other crops. It is a dual-action fungicide that works by inhibiting the respiration of fungi and the stability of their cell membranes. This two-pronged approach provides superior control of diseases and helps to prevent the development of resistance.
Ampect Xtra is easy to use and can be applied with a conventional sprayer. It is rainfast within one hour of application and has a long residual activity, providing up to 14 days of protection.
Active Ingredient
The active ingredients in Syngenta Ampect Xtra Fungicide are azoxystrobin and cyproconazole. Azoxystrobin is a strobilurin fungicide that works by inhibiting the respiration of fungi. Cyproconazole is a triazole fungicide that works by disrupting the production of ergosterol, a component of the fungal cell membrane.
